How does it happen?
Our Contracted Retailers.. get a daily stock of LDPE/LLDPE Mix products as they unpack their purchases of varied consumer related products to sell to their individual customers.
As per our agreements with each one of them , they send us a weekly spread-sheet of their dumped material along with representative pictures of such material. Our purchase office servicing New York, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania is then alerted and goes to inspect the material when it falls out of usual confirmity to contracted standards. I then receive final and approved weekly spread-sheets of items we can sell to our customers.
Some of our Contracted Retailers, sort and bail the material as per our requests, other don't, so we made other agreements with other people to do our sorting and bailing for a higher fee than market rate to get a priority treatnment when we need it.
To be able to service our Long term contracts we also and for a large extent depend on large scrap dealers in New York. We receive their products at a good price and re-sell it to our customers as such. Doing business with them makes our overall sales more systematic and more consistant.
Doing business this way eliminated the need for us to be spending too much money on fixed costs such as renting a yard and paying power and water bills, not to mention Labor costs for keeping and operating such a yard with otherwise needed machinery. Added to all that and also as important losses resulting from foul runs, power surges, machine breakdowns are all spared...
